Do I have to pay a booking fee ?

We offer a completely free service to our customers, the price you see on our website is the final price you will pay including all taxes.

When do I pay ?

Hotelsathens.travel never take any payment for hotel reservations, you pay the hotel direct either on arrival or departure. Sometimes a hotel will offer an extra special price if you pay when you make the booking, these are usually non refundable if you have to cancel your booking. Some hotels may also take a deposit to secure your booking, please check the room information and cancellation policy on the hotel page for more information.

Is it safe to book online with hotelsathens.travel ?

It is very safe. The latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is employed through the 100% secure environment offered by booking.com. Only the hotel will receive your credit card details to secure your booking.

Why do I have to give you my credit card details ?

All the hotels featured in hotelsathens.travel through booking.com will never take payment from your card.. Most will not charge you until you arrive at the hotel but the details are kept just in case you don’t show up or if cancel your booking without enough notice. In this situation the hotel would normally charge the card. To avoid this always make sure to cancel your booking in enough time (all cancellation details are stated during the booking procedure). Some hotels offer special rates that cannot be cancelled. This will always be mentioned during your booking procedure. Payment for these rooms will usually be taken by the hotel at the time of booking.

How do I know my reservation is confirmed ?

After the 4 steps of the booking process you need to click on "make the reservation". You will then see a confirmation page with your book number and PIN code, your booking is now confirmed. For future reference, please write or print your book number and pin code. You will receive an email confirmation on the email address provided during the reservation process. You can also view your confirmation via My Booking [Top right side of the home page ]

 How do I cancel or change my reservation ?

Please log on to My Booking using one of the two following methods: 1) Click on the cancellation/change link provided in your confirmation email, this will take you to your My Booking page. or 2) Click on My Booking on the top of the home page and enter your booking number and the pin number provided when you completed your reservation. On your My Booking page, select My Booking Self Service. Click on change to modify a room or click cancel to cancel the room. In some cases hotel cancellation fees might be applied.

What is my PIN code and why do I need it for ?

Your PIN code is a 4 digit randomly generated number. The unique combination of your book number and PIN code will allow access to view, change or cancel your reservation through “my booking” at the right top side of the website. Please keep your PIN code confidential.

Where can I find the address of the hotel ?

The address of the hotel is stated at the top of the hotel’s page and on your booking confirmation.

What types of credit card can I use to complete the reservation?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club can be used on our website. However, it is possible that the hotel does not accept one or more of these card types. Before making your reservation, please check at the bottom of the hotel policies section for "Accepted credit cards".
